I came to USA with J-1 visa, to study. For two years, everything was good. But one semester I lost my status. This made me see the Immigration Judge. My attorney said to me Accept Voluntary Departure. I did that, but four months later I had a removal Order. For almost ten years, I continue to live, work, and teach in Connecticut and New York City. Then, ICE arrested me and sent me to a jail a big distance from my home. My wife and friends decide to hire Irwin Berowitz to help me. Due to some bad luck and mistakes made by my old attorney, ICE picked me up and put me in a jail. ICE planned to deport me. My wife contacted Mr. Irwin. My brother and my wife met with him. They were impressed by the way Mr. Irwin spoke with them. They hired him to file a stay application and a motion to reopen. The next day, he filed the stay application. Two days after that, he filed the motion. Mr. Irwin also called my deportation officer and the lawyer for the DHS all the time, telling them that I am a good person and a hard worker.

I wanted to go to my home country and did something stupid. I got arrested and prosecuted by the federal government. My wife heard about Irwin Berowitz and hired him.
